Parents and Guardians
When choosing an educator, location, language, cultural expectations, size of a group, and the age of children are just some of the factors you may be considering. Acre Family Child Care has educators across the city located on both sides of the Merrimack River. Acre Family Child Care offers programs in many of the languages represented in the Lowell community and programs of varying size and age range to provide parents with options so that they can find the ideal fit for their child.
Why choose Acre Family Child Care?
The reasons are clear:
Individual Attention
Small group settings allow Acre Family educators to respond to the individual needs of children and families. Your child will thrive and grow in a comfortable, nurturing atmosphere with children of different ages. Hands-on activities engage children in learning science, math, reading, and more. Educators serve family-style, healthy meals.
Award-Winning Childcare Educator Training
The Acre Family Child Care Professional Development Program is nationally recognized. All Educators complete Acre Family’s Benchmark Training during their first year of joining the network. Educators also participate in ongoing education and professional opportunities that exceed the Massachusetts licensing requirements.
Continuing Support
Acre Family’s staff of childcare specialists visit each home at least twice a month to offer individualized training, advice, and assistance. Childcare specialists are also available to families to help with parenting, child development and early childhood education information, and referrals to community resources.
