Parents and Guardians
When choosing an educator, location, language, cultural appropriateness, size of a group, and the age of children are just some of the factors you may be considering. Acre Family Child Care has educators across the city located on both sides of the Merrimack River. The Acre Family network of educators speaks multiple languages to meet your needs. Do you want a child to learn Spanish, Khmer, English or Portuguese at an early age when children can learn multiple languages at ease? Or do you prefer an educator that speaks the language you speak at home? Either way, we have an educator for you. Do you prefer your child to be in a small group or large? Acre Family educators can meet your specific needs as a parent. Most importantly, ALL educators have one thing in common:
A commitment to providing a nurturing environment for your child to grow and develop socially, emotionally, and educationally.
Why choose Acre Family Child Care?
The reasons are clear:
Individual Attention
Small group settings enable Acre Family Educators to respond to the individual needs of children and families. Your child will thrive and grow in a comfortable, nurturing atmosphere with children of different ages. Hands-on activities engage children in learning science, math, reading, and more. Educators serve family-style, healthy meals.
Award Winning Child Care Educator Training
The Acre Family Child Care Professional Development Program is nationally recognized. All Educators complete Acre Family’s Benchmark Training during their first year of joining the network. Educators also participate in ongoing education and professional opportunities that exceed the Massachusetts licensing requirements.
Continuing Support
Acre Family’s staff of Child Care Specialists visit each home at least twice a month to offer individualized training, advice, and assistance. Child Care Specialists are also available to families to help with parenting, child development and early childhood education information, and referrals to community resources.
